This is a nice little 2" Humboldt probably from Nevada. What I really like about this point is how well it shows true transverse flaking, where the flakes run from one edge clear across the face of the blade. I frequently see points labeled as oblique transverse but few are truely transverse. The material in this one really helps to show the flaking. |
